Companionship is time. Time when I will simply be present, providing support and holding space as best serves you and your caregivers.
It could look like:
- Conversation, reading, music, games or meditating together
- Accompanying you to appointments as a companion or as an advocate
- Connecting you to others who provide specific comfort care such as massage, acupuncture, somatic therapy, reiki or sound baths.
Really, this is time where we set the expectations and ensure our time together is what you need it to be.
This time may also provide respite for your chosen caregivers.
It is not uncommon for those who are caring for loved ones to experience compassion fatigue, exhaustion, and loneliness, or simply feel out of balance. I’ll be with you during their needed pauses.
